The need to reach out and evangelize young people has always been the priority of the Campus Ministry.

The B. E. C. Program, which has been continuously implemented by the said office for 25 years now, is designed to make the Church closer to young people, and to make the faith fully alive in them.

Faith witnessing is necessary in investing in today’s youth, for them to grow better as children of God. The BEC Program is an avenue to serve the needs of the youth, and effectively guide them in their faith journey.

With this, the Office of the Religious Affairs, after thoughtful reflection and consideration of these factors, decided to come up with an enhancement to the school’s regular B. E. C. Program beginning this academic year – the CAMPUS F.E.A.S.T., with the acrostic FEAST referring to Faith Enriching Activity to Spread the Truth.

The new Campus FEAST, which will now be held every 4th Friday of the month, was launched last September 27 with all the high school learners as attendees. The new BEC was divided into three parts:

  • Praise and Worship
  • Faith Witnessing
  • Faith Sharing

For its initial activity, the Campus Ministry invited Bro. Rommel Reyes of Oasis of Love to lead the youth in praise and worship, followed by the faith witnessing of Mrs. Anabelle Santos-Tankia Blanco, the mother of the teenager who went viral in Facebook because of her display of strong faith amidst the dreaded cancer that hit her at a very young age.

The learners can now look forward to new and relevant topics to be shared by different inspiring BEC F.E.A.S.T. speakers.
