The Basic Education Department of UST Angelicum College has always been a place for learning for many students who want to experience quality education in a non-conventional way, and through the mastery learning.
The Basic Education Department was established in 1972 to serve as an alternative option for parents who do not wish to subject their children to the rigors and inflexibilities of the graded school. With its learner-centered, self-paced, and non graded system, the school is more focused on catering to the individual needs of the learners with its philosophy, “to do what is best for the learners”.
The Basic Education Department of UST Angelicum College envisions itself as a leading provider of an alternative and transformative basic education that promotes the holistic Christian formation through the integration of academics, spiritual development and social involvement for the service of the community, the nation, the environment, and the Church.
